Two very highly touted freshman were in this weight class, and many saw what others may see several times this season.  Unfortunately, that match was in the second round, after each had received a first round bye.  Shaw's Caden Judice proved his value at the Warrior Open via a 16-0 technical fall over St. Amant senior Johnny Laris.  This was the first event of the season for Teurlings Catholic's Alex Rozas.  Rozas won the match via a 12-4 major decision, and had little trouble with Rummel junior Nathan Hester in the finals, scoring a 16-0 technical fall.  Rozas scored a 15-0 technical fall in the semifinals against another Raider, Liam Richie.. Judice cruised through the consolation rounds with a 16-0 TF and falls in 3:41 and 0:31.
